NWRELS originally was an acronym for NATION WIDE REAL ESTATE LISTING SERVICES. But since we are starting here in the north western part of America, we went with a more regional name. This may turn out to be an error on my part since we already have a good agent in the Eastern Iowa area. About our color choices. “We are BRIGHT GREEN to be SEEN!” Recently I was shopping for a home to buy and in the process, I drove around and would slow down in the intersections and look down the street trying to find a Real Estate Sign. It became apparent early in my quest that most signs are hard to see in any distance over e few hundred feet. A sign NEEDS to be SEEN. Ninety percent of all the Real Estate signs are “soft” colors and they blend in with the surroundings. NOT OURS! You will see them a couple blocks away! The Real Estate companies need to take lessons from the local politicians running a campaign. Now THOSE are some signs that cannot help but be seen, unfortunately.
